Comer and Peacock Inc announced a new hardwood furniture squares plant in Wilson North Carolina occupying 45000 square feet on a five acre site from Williams Lumber Co The facility will employ 75 to 100 workers with an annual payroll over 750000 and produce four million board feet per year making it a large operation in Eastern NC Officers include John G Peacock president and vice presidents John G Comer Harold R Comer and James Peacock The home office will be in four buildings on site Sales representative Julian H Kabat will cover Virginia to Florida and parts of Tennessee representing Mastercraft Weaving Co and related fabric firms.
