The High Point Memorial Hospital Guild known as The Ladies in the Pink Aprons runs a four market year program to raise funds for the hospital. Members wear pink smocks and operate the Dogwood Room cafeteria with breakfast and lunch service and multiple concession stands. The group has donated seventy five thousand dollars to the hospital this year plus ten thousand for heart monitor machines, led by 26 year president Mrs. Chase Idol and current president Mrs. Vernon McFalls.
