Stolen Pink House Traced To Across Town Move
Leon County investigators traced an $11 000 tiny pink house owned by Dr Frank Banghart to a home site across town. Sheriff Hamlin said the dismantled 25 by 40 foot dwelling was being used to build another house and that at least five people were involved in its disappearance. Banghart, a Florida State University professor, reported the theft and said the house vanished between April 1 and April 17. Neighbor Mareela Carpenter recalled two men and a teenage boy loading the house piece by piece onto a truck over several weekends.
