Ribbon paving could cut home costs in High Point
Land developer Dick Wright urged the City Planning and Zoning Commission to allow ribbon streets to lower costs. He proposed acquiring land, installing ribbon streets and utilities, and selling lots to builders for about 1500 each. This could enable modest homes selling for 12000 or less, easing blue collar housing needs.
