Indictments Returned In Banking Case In Asheville
Indictments naming 16 men were added to existing charges from Buncombe County grand jury over bank failures last fall with more than 20 million dollars on deposit. Total indicted by yesterday's action reached 27, including Col. Luke Lea and E P Charilet of Nashville and Wallace B. Davis. A six week term of superior court starts Monday under Judge M W Barnhill.
