Evangelist Mrs. Barr Draws Queerboro Audience

A large Greensboro and Yadkinville crowd heard Mrs. Daisy Douglas Barr preach at the Friends church. Rev. Samuel Haworth led singing and urged the congregation to clap hands. Barr urged personal faith, discussed images of God, and invited those seeking closer knowledge to talk with her. Reports said ten prayer groups increased attendance and Barr praised the town’s schools and civic spirit. She plans daytime women's and Sunday men’s sessions and a final evening talk titled The Unanswered Question.
