Peanut cheese and new peanut foods from NCSU
Dr. Maurice W. Hoover of North Carolina State University has filed for a patent on Peanut Cheese Velvet a soft fondue style cheese made from peanuts with flavors like bacon smoked onion and pizza. He also developed a cholesterol free frozen peanut dessert and a range of peanut products including a peanut beverage powder noodles pie fillings and a nutri bar while stressing economic benefits for North Carolina farmers.
