Phase I gathers facts and plans 1972 76. Phase II 1976 Year of Declarations. Phase III Competition 200 1989. Phase IV follows.

Florida Citrus Commission funds orange juice at Democratic National Convention

The Florida Citrus Commission approved spending 5000 dollars to dispense orange juice at the Democratic National Convention in Miami Beach in July. Phase IV envisions a bicentennial end in 1989 marking two centuries of the Republic and the inauguration of Washington. Local control of bicentennial programs is encouraged to keep diverse statewide programs.
