The Spring Fashion Review at the Tomlinson Exhibition building attracts hundreds of visitors by 2 PM, surpassing any previous semi annual showing and marking the eighth edition of the event.
The Piedmont Baptist Sunday School association will gather Sunday at 3 p m at the First Baptist church in Greensboro. It includes all Guilford county Sunday schools and several in Randolph and Rockingham counties. A C Lovelace Mills Home Thomasville will speak on What the Association Can Do for the Sunday Schools. Two of his sons will perform musically. Adult, young people, and children groups will hold discussions led by Harry R B Caldwell Judge Hayes Cleo Mitchell and others.
A two part feature highlights a well received Spanish Moon musical comedy staged by a local cast and a grand Tomlinson display of centuries old furniture. Visitors admire 18th century chairs tables secretary desks and other heirlooms while the theater showcases a large cast with Genevieve A directing and a Points Woman's Club sponsorship.
