Carl ton Newby nine year old son of Major and Mrs Tf Newby was seriously injured when a motor truck driven by Charles Leonard of Lexington ran over him on North Main street near SK GC Greene’s furniture store. He was taken home for medical aid as doctors warned his condition remained serious tonight. The accident’s exact cause was unclear. witnesses called it accidental. The truck belonged to Lexington Home Furnishing Company and the driver was not detained.
