General Scott to Visit Texas as Villa Pursuit Pauses

Fagg Believed to Be Working in Virginia

Polceman Carroll returns from Virginia search for Jule Fagg, wanted for burglaries last Sunday night. Traces show Fagg moved through Lynchburg Roanoke Madison and North Carolina towns. Senate votes for city schools not army of 1,000,000

Evangelistic Services Begin at First Reformed Church

A series of evangelistic services starts tonight at the First Reformed church with the pastor preaching through Sunday. Next week Rev. A D Wolfin ger from Greensboro will lead services. The superintendent bans telephone calls to school offices due to excessive and frivolous interruptions. He stresses he will not act as community messenger or keep teachers and pupils from their duties.

East End Revival Closes With Tonight

Rev. S. S. Higgins led a forceful service at East End church last night with five more conversions, raising total in the meeting to over fifty. Tonight’s final service is expected to draw a large crowd as the preacher bids farewell. Higgins spoke on conscience guiding men and cited Paul’s Damascus road experience to illustrate conversion.
