Folkes said he noticed Mrs James shortly after she boarded in Portland and that she looked like his type of woman.

Three Killed In Car Train Collision At Grade Crossing
In Kings Mountain at a grade crossing shortly after midnight a car collided with a south bend passenger train. Gaylord Andrews 26 of Banner Elk Miss Fulton 18 of Kings Mountain and Miss Mildred Dayberry 16 of Shelby died.
