Two purebred Holstein cows owned by R O Lindsay of High Point completed lactation records in the Herd Improvement program. Carnation Inka Glenwood produced 16 018 pounds of milk and 643 8 pounds of fat in a year, while Lindsays Carnation Tilly Favorite yielded 12 298 pounds of milk and 388 9 pounds of fat. Sire Carnation Prince Ormaby has four daughters averaging 17 500 pounds of milk and 660 pounds of fat on Mature B basis. The Holstein herd test program continues to grow with 493 herds tested nationwide.
