High Point Housewife Turns Tapestry Importer Dream Realized

Nancy Herman, a High Point matron with no business background two years ago, now runs an import tapestry venture. Her pieces, woven in France with 70 percent wool and strong color, have found buyers among top designers and showrooms. Her first full color brochure debuts at the April Market and one tapestry, The Unicorn, is featured on a national catalogue cover.

Bridal Shower Held For Cheryl Bullard

JAMESTOWN Cheryl Bullard was guest of honor at a shower hosted by Mrs. Carl Reed and Mrs. William Smith at the Reed home. She received a wrist corsage and an electric cooker. About 30 guests attended including Mrs. George Bullard. Miss Bullard and Bryan Murray of Tilley Alberta plan to marry July 23 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
