In New Orleans a 49 year old woman, Annie Flink, and her 14 year old son Henry were killed by robbers at a Gentilly Road store. Police suspect an early morning break in between 7 and 7:45. Three High School Students Die In Train Crash At Crossing
Gulfport Miss April 13 three high school students were killed and two injured when a Louisville and Nashville passenger train struck their small coupe at the 21st grade crossing. In Chewelah Washington on April 13 a party of eight including five Boy Scouts and two men clung to a cliff on Quartzite Mountain for nearly eight hours. Two Killed In Auto Wreck Near Raleigh
Raleigh April 13 two persons were killed when a roadster left the road south of Raleigh before midnight. Miss Evelyn Perry of Raleigh an employee of the State Revenue Department and I H Freeman of Wake Forest automobile dealer were killed when the car turned over three times breaking their necks. A motorist said the car passed him at terrific speed shortly before the accident and an inquest was ordered.
