Randleman Board Action Sets Public Housing Moves
Randleman Housing Authority voted to remove tenants whose incomes exceed HUD limits within six months with a possible extra six months if needed. If no housing is found after the second period, staff will assist. The measure, supported by Ray Cashatt, follows HUD rent levels and aims to enforce the policy while safeguarding the director. In a separate action, the board delayed eviction for a young mother by up to 30 days if she agrees to curb access to her husband via a restraining order.
