W F Walker Dies in Auto Collision Near Salisbury
W F Walker 57 of China Grove was killed instantly in a two vehicle crash at North Kannapolis. He rode in the back seat of Sam Upright’s car and suffered a fatal head injury when the vehicle collided with L B Laughlin’s car. Upright was seriously injured. Laughlin unhurt aside from a finger hurt. Walker leaves a widow, three children, five brothers and two sisters. He was a gate keeper at Cannon Mills Kannapolis.
