Three Sentenced In Bank Holdup At College Village

Three men from Washington D C were sentenced to 15 and 14 year terms for the December 10 robbery of North Carolina National Bank at College Village Shopping Center in High Point. They took teller Mrs Sara Frances Richardson as a hostage. she was unharmed. Police chased the getaway car along Highway 68, exchanges with Richardson at the wheel, and the robbers fled into woods after firing at officers. About $500 of the money remains unrecovered.
