Service personnel updates from Trinity and Thomasville region
Airman Luther P. Baker and Airman James M. Hill have been selected for technical training in the U.S. Air Force at Sheppard AFB Texas. Baker a 1970 Trinity High School graduate is married to Rhonda Jarrett of Thomasville. Hill, a 1974 Ledford High School graduate, is in Air Force accounting and finance. Also noted are Airman Charles F. Kerner completing basic training at Lackland and preparing for security police field. Private Roger Od. Greeson earned a parachutist badge at Ft. Benning after airborne training. Marines Richard L. Osborne and Clyde Davis Jr. recently promoted at Charleston Marine Barracks. Captain Bill Henley, Asheboro, part of the 43rd Strategic Wing at Andersen AFB Guam, received the Air Force Outstanding Unit award with Combat V for 1973. Henley, a 1966 Randleman High School graduate, earned an engineering degree from NCSU in 1970 and is married to Sandra Henley.
