Rhodes decries print shop subsidies for lawmakers
House Republican Leader John Rhodes says he is shocked that two congressional clerks Thomas Lankford and David Ramage run private print shops on Capitol grounds with million-dollar sales and free space and services. The GAO audit shows $1 million in annual sales for each shop while clerks receive taxpayer salaries and the firms post profits.
