The Modernettes Club held a luncheon and business meeting at the YWCA with Mesdames Leon Collins Dave Oden and Gene Marsh as hostesses. Invocation by Mrs. Lonnie Ingram announced a YWCA Neighborhood Conference in Charlotte on April 17 with reservations requested. Final plans were set for a benefit bridge on April 15 from 7 30 to 11 30 p.m. Bridge committee members will meet April 15 at 10 30 a.m. at the YWCA. Door prize was won by Mrs. Rupert Bullard.

Cake Cutting Honor For Shinault Mason Wedding Party
After the Mason Shinault wedding rehearsal Friday evening an informal cake cutting was held at Mrs. E. W. Clapp’s South Main home. About 30 guests including wedding party parents and close friends attended.
