Postal receipts at the High Point post office rose in March 1937 and surpassed the first quarter total of 1936. The first quarter receipts reached 55 651.39 compared with 52 785.65 a year earlier, with March alone bringing 20 359.65 versus 17 808.94 in 1936. If the trend continues, 1937 may exceed last year’s total around 225 000.

State music recital postponed to ease box office demand
