Rally Day at First Methodist Church A Success
Rally Day at the First Methodist Church last Sunday drew 478 in Sunday School and many visitors. Two new classrooms were completed for the Infant Department and the Men's Bible Class. The Philathea Class grew to 64 members with 13 visitors, and since January has tripled in size. Baraca and Philathean Classes led the eleven o'clock service with strong programs including Esther Shultz’s reading and a solo. Decorations featured roses, dahlias, chrysanthemums, nasturtiums, autumn foliage, ferns, and ivy. The Philathes Committee distributed cut flowers to the sick and invited young ladies to join.
