Mrs Shuford Whitener entertained the Embroidery Club last Thursday for the season finale. Guests included Mrs J L Murphy Mrs James Wilfong Mrs C C Best and Miss Addie Lee Wilfong Miss Pinkie Forney and Miss Mattie Abernethy. L R Whitener read the concluding chapters of Miss Minerva and William Green Hill as Hoffmann and DeWald provided piano selections. Fresh strawberries cream and cake were served.
