Mr and Mrs Jay Whitlow of Charlotte visited relatives here for a week. Whitlow, who had lived in the west for years, recently returned and on April 11 married Ona Bessie Kemp of High Point.

A range of students and locals attend commencements, visits, and family gatherings, with trips to Raleigh, West Point appointment for a local, and many social calls. Families travel to Washington Springs, Fort Mill, and Sweetwater Tennessee, while local infrastructure sees a new pebbledashed house on 9th Ave.
