The Kiremen s Relief Fund, funded from premiums collected by foreign insurers, totals $9,690.97 and will be deposited in a bank to support disabled firemen or those with ten years of service. County Commissioners Approve 1915 Tax Levy and Road Plans

In a monthly session the county board set the annual levy and boosted the school tax to 8 cents to fund farm life school at Startown. The 1915 rate totals 94.23 cents with a poll tax of 2.24, plus state pensions and county road levies. Road signs at cross roads are ordered. Funds and reliefs are detailed for local properties and road projects, with jurors drawn for July court and a new district election for school funding. An additional $100 is allotted to the State department of agriculture for road demonstrations and a boy scout patrol to aid road maintenance.
