Mrs Menzies read Queen Marguerite’s scene and Mrs Lyerly spoke on Queen Margaret’s turbulent life. J A Martin read Windsor Castle history. The hosts served a salad course. Next meeting at Mrs Joethy’s. Miss Ola Warner entertained church groups February 12 with Valentine decor and games. A large invited guest list attended. The Viva Music Club, February 11, featured Schumann stories and a musical program including Rose Waltz and other pieces, followed by refreshments and Valentine crafts. A separate afternoon on February 11 had Miss Louise Jones hosting the De-Ae-You-Please Club for sewing and conversation with a salad lunch.
