W J Alexander a well known merchant of Connelly Springs was assaulted in his store last Wednesday night by thieves who broke in about 1 o clock. He was struck on the head and unconscious for a time, later regaining enough to phone for help as officers arrived in the night. This marks the fourth break in recent months with $300 robbed a few weeks prior.
