The fourth anniver sary exercises by Lenoir College girls drew a large audience in the college auditorium Monday night. Highlights included a piano duet Spanish Dance No. 3, papers by Annie Powlas on the North American Indian, a humorous ten year hence life impersonation, a Shadow Dance, and a dramatization of Hiawatha with twenty performers. Kathryn Aderholdt and Lillian Plank portrayed Hiawatha in youth and manhood, Nell Rodisill played Minnehaha, with Nanette Rodisill, Edna Hamitehie, Dora Rhodes, Elvira Sheely, Pearl Miller, Gertrude Ohn, and Stella Yoder in various roles.

Funeral of Mrs Carroll Interred at Oakwood Cemetery
The funeral of Mrs Carroll, mother of Mr iker, was held at Oakwood Cemetery last Thursday. Rev S B Stroup of the Church of the Ascension conducted the service. Mrs Carroll died Nemessay night after months of suffering, her illness borne cheerfully. She came from Crawfords Will Ind. Palm Sunday services at the church were notable with palms and a strong sermon from Rev S B Stroup.
