Diehm's Car Demolished by Fast Freight at Derry Church Crossing
John Diehm and his wife were returning from Lebanon when their Ford touring lost its right front wheel at the Derry Church crossing. The crossing watchman signaled as a fast freight appeared but was unable to stop. the car was struck about 11 34 p m, two minutes after disabling, carried 300 yards, and the vehicle was wrecked beyond repair.
