Only five of thirty eight Dauphin County tax collectors have filed lists of taxpayers for county taxes this year. A state law requires filing twenty days before elections with Penbrook Dauphin Paxtang Middle Paxton and Lower Paxton among those reporting. The rule aims to curb fraudulent tax receipts and unlawful voting by non taxpayers within two years before an election. No prosecutions have occurred locally.

The 1925 26 enrollment reaches 1237 with 829 in the Grade School and 408 in the Junior Senior High School. To ease congestion 4th grade gained a new teacher Miss Florence Hartman from Palmyra and 9th grade overflow led to hiring Miss Dorothy A Mentzer from Lebanon Ursinus College. The High School Athletic Association planned its first meeting and football season schedule will appear next issue. The High School Auditorium shows new stage equipment and a raspberry velvet curtain. Visitors welcome for tours and chapel exercises.
