Hershey Reunion Marks 200th Arrival Anniversary
A Hershey family reunion on Saturday August 28 1909 drew Hersheys from distant towns to Rahn Five in a grand celebration of the 200th anniversary of their arrival in America. Mr M S Hershey oversaw preparations including a barbecue, a display of brigh ornaments, and a late night rally. The organizing committee elected Mr M Hershey president and the gathering continued until 7 pm with plans for continuation on page 8.
