The Hershey Store Implement Department reports a fall peak in farm machinery sales. Gasoline engines from one to twenty horsepower lead the demand with some calls for up to 60 HP. New Holland engines, corn and fodder cutters, manure spreaders, and feed mills are also selling, mainly within twenty five miles in Dauphin and Lebanon counties and into Lancaster.

October Chestnut Party Of YWCA Girls
The YWCA girls held an October chestnut party last Saturday using the Hershey Auto Truck with park seats. They traveled from Hershey to Manito Gap, left at 1:00, reached the Gap at 2:30, spent 90 minutes in the woods gathering butternuts chestnuts and pawpaws, and returned home at 6:00. Highteen participated in the trip.
