Romig Named Pastor for New Holland Charge
Rev O G Romig of this place has been appointed by Rev D D Towery PD D conference superintendent as pastor of the New Holland charge in Lancaster county. The charge became vacant after the sudden oath of Rev W W Fridinger, appointed by the annual conference held in Philadelphia. Solomon Schroll, 63, of near Harrisburg and father of George Schroll of Hershey, was knocked down by a trolley car Saturday evening. His right leg was crushed and amputated above the knee after he lay pinned beneath the wheel for about fifteen minutes. He died or remained in a subconscious state while attempting to be freed, and was taken to Harrisburg Hospital for treatment.
