The Hershey Volunteer Fire Co announces a multi night fair starting Saturday with events on November 23 24 25 27 and December 1 4. Highlights include a Rummage Sale Cake and Candy Night Thanksgiving entertainment and nightly door prizes culminating in a $50 merchandise prize at the Hershey Dept Store.
Attendance exceeded expectations at the U B church Father and Son service last Sunday night. 105 men and boys filled the auditorium with special music by the church choir and the Otterbein Men's Bible Class. Rev A K Wier urged fathers to lead their families to Christ and unite with a church.

The H O A Ladies Class of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church met at Mrs. Melville Keiffer's home on East Derry Road for their regular November gathering. A nominating committee was named for officer elections set for December 13 at Mrs. Grover Sheekart’s home. Refreshments were served to attendees including teachers and several members and guests.
Hershe Post No. 886 American Legion will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday evening November 23 at 8 oclock in the Legion rooms. It is the first meeting of the new administration and a door prize will be awarded. The Executive Committee meets at 7 oclock before the post session.
Harrison King son of the late John D. King and Charlotte Wiggins died of pneumonia on Thursday in Middletown aged 46 years 2 months 8 days. He lived most of his life near Otlaville Orange County New York and for 22 years with his grandson Angel J. King. He survived by two children J Wallace King of Jersey City and Mrs Carlotta K. Eager of New York City along with eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Middletown and interment was in the family cemetery at Mt Vernon.
Hershey High stretched to seven straight wins by defeating Carson Long Institute 13 to 0 at Hershey Park. A hard fought first half ended scoreless before Hershey’s Bohner and F Purcell, with Curry adding the extra point, put the hosts ahead with steady ground gains and sharp ends runs as both defenses stifled drives throughout the rugged matchup.
The Hershey Industrial School Band gave its first public performance during Armistice Day exercises in the Hershey High School auditorium. Director Brandt leads a team of young musicians praised for technical skill and enthusiasm. the group includes cornets, trombone, baritones, altos, basses, reeds, drums and percussion with a growing roster of members.

The Volunteer Clans of Palm United Lutheran church will hold a bazaar on Saturday December 4. Items for sale include candy cakes and various handcrafts such as embroidery crocheting weaving and hand painted works suitable for Christmas gifts.

The Hershey Camp No. 364 Woodmen of the World will hold a class initiation in their rooms on the second floor of the Hershey Central Theatre building on Friday evening at 8 o clock. Delegations from Camps at Reading and Harrisburg will attend and refreshments will be served. Members are invited to attend.

The Blue Triangle Girl Reserves meet every Thursday at 4 PM at Mrs. A Mathews home to sew layettes for the local Red Cross. All girls are urged to participate in this charitable effort.
Miss Grace Bilotta and Miss Mary Blummer spent the week end at home in Hershey with their families. The young women are Hershey High School Class of 1926 graduates and now attend Cumberland Valley State Normal School in Shippensburg.
