Death of Simon J. Eby in Hershey at 85
Simon J. Eby died at his daughter Mrs. Frank B. Snavely’s home in Hummelstown on Sunday evening October 29. He was 85 and had been a prominent Lancaster county farmer and later a hardware partner. He is survived by Christian of Lemoyne, Mrs. Frank Barr Snavely of Hershey, and Clayton S. of Lancaster. Funeral services were held in the Snavely home and burial followed at Mount Joy.

Local hunters report a busy week as rabbit season opens yesterday in Hershey areas. Collectors bagged many grey squirrels in nearby woods and mountains with several shooters posting notable totals.
