Hershey's Main Street Described as Growing Town Approach
The West End residence district forms Hershey's main street along Chocolate Avenue from the old Berks and Dauphin turnpike. Buildings include Hershey Department Store Young Men's Christian Association, Trust Company, Post Office, High School, Hose House, Cafe, and several Hershey Chocolate Company plant structures. The lower end is graded for a beautiful town approach as houses line the east end and barren pike land is transformed.
