Victim Dies After Alleged Drunken Driver Hit and Run
Charles Neiswender a 62 year old resident of 512 West Main Patmyri died from a fractured skull after a December 13 hit and run in front of the Hershey car barns. Dr J H Kreider county coroner ruled the death from the injuries sustained. State Police Lieutenant Pickering said the driver Simmons a farmer near Fleniiiow struck Neiswender and left a demolished lamp post and two wrecked cars. Simmons was arrested and held without bail on seven charges including driving while drunk and failing to stop.
