Otterbein Men Hold Banquet and Talks on Christian Life
About sixty five members of the Otterbein Men's Bible Class of the United Brethren Ghareh and guests attended a December 8 banquet at Hershey Cafe. Speakers included James F. Garvin on Christian Athletics, Rev Segelyken on The Power of a Life Lived, S. D. Clark on Religion and Business, Rev. C. K. Fegley on the Men's Movement, C. S. Gee on the Y M C A relation to the Church, and Rev Romig on class history. The event, catered by Frank Roth, urged that religion is for men and backed the idea of an annual gathering.

Night School Cards Promote Coed Evening Classes
Night School cards announce a weekly program on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays at 7 p m in the school house. The program, previously assumed to be for young men only, is for young women too and enrollment must happen soon to maintain classification. Prospective students should contact A W Snavely or E L Bomgardner at the Trust Company or C 8 Gee to report interest or arrange later enrollment.

Destructive Fire at Union Deposit Hits Store and Post Office
W H Rapp a Union Deposit merchant awoke to an explosion at 4 am. Fire started unknownly, possibly from powder cans, with smoldering hours earlier. Neighbors helped form a bucket brigade. $7,000 to $8,000 loss mostly insured. Rapp continues business from an undamaged cellar. he is also Union Deposit postmaster in the same building.

Lebanon Valley College Diploma Accepted for Law School Entry
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled the State Board of Law Examiners must admit Lebanon Valley College graduates to law student registration without the preliminary exam. The college offers five A B degree tracks, with Historical Political leading to law by focusing on History and Political Science.

Song Festival and Stereopticon Lecture at Hershey Park
