New Hershey Store Opens for Inspection Week
The Hershey Department Store announces Inspection Days from Wednesday to Saturday. Visitors may wander the updated, beautifully furnished store from 7 to 9 PM each evening with no sales. Evening performances include baritone Mr. Witmeyer, Meyer Brothers Quartette, Mrs Kaley, Mr Zeigler, and a live orchestra.

The Hershey Mothers' Club will hold its regular session on Tuesday December 7 with an engaging program. Miss Gerwick will discuss The World's Program Work of the Y W C A. Cornerstone Ceremony Set for New Catholic Church
The Right Rev. P. R. McDevitt will bless and lay the cornerstone of St. Joan of Arc church in Hershey on Sunday December 5 assisted by Harrisburg clergy. Monster hog weighs over a thousand pounds in Maryland
A Maryland farmer near Knoxville, Jives A. Arnold, owns a hog over 1000 pounds. The behemoth measures seven feet long and twelve feet in girth and is described as the largest hog in the area. Arnold plans to kill the huge animal later in the season.
