Two Robbers Almost Captured at Hershey Department Store

S. D. Clark protected his home from two husky housebreakers when they tried a second time to enter through a window. The would‑be burglars fled after Clark realized the shotgun was unloaded, Ralph Fiore later collected evidence, and the pair likely faced arrest at the Dauphin County jail.

Hershey Park curtails season services but hosts a Sunday Patriotic Concert by the Hershey Orchestra led by Prof. John Rhodes. Hershey Red Cross asks for weekly production of 12 patterns or 2400 articles and urges greater turnout.
