Swatara Bible Class Meeting Sees Strong Support
The Swatara New Movement Bible Class met at Jacob F H Balsbaugh's home with secretary Jacob B R Nye reporting enthusiastic and delightful attendance. Contributions ranged from one to fifty dollars for the building fund, including a $60 donor raising effort to 100 for a bell if a tower is built. An adjourned session in the Squire's courtroom featured refreshments hosted by Miss Sara Balsbaugh and the primary class. Big Susquehanna Bridge Progress Near Completion
Work on the Cumberland Valley railroad bridge across the Susquehanna at Harrisburg advances rapidly. Of 16 000 cable yards of concreteNeeded to finish the piers 7 000 have been laid. A force of about 176 men is kept at work daily. The contract calls for two years for completion with hope the lower half and trains running by September 1916 and the entire bridge finished in 1917.

Lebanon pair wed at Cornwall Methodist parsonage
