Hershey Chocolate Company Raises Wages Twenty Percent
The Hershey Chocolate Company in Hershey Pennsylvania announces a May 1 1917 wage increase of twenty percent for factory and office workers both time and piece. In addition workers employed on May 1 1917 will receive a 20 percent bonus on wages from January 1 to April 30 1917. No further annual or future year bonuses will be paid. President W F R Murrie notes the new rates and promotes Hershey as a healthy town with attractive pay inviting friends to relocate for work.

Daisy Day in Hershey Supports Kindergarten Students

Signor resigns as Hershey school chief after fruitful tenure
George C. Signor, named general superintendent of the Hershey Industrial School and Hershey farms last August, has tendered his resignation accepted by Mr. Hershey with regret.
