Hershey News Roundup Includes Visitors and Local Happenings
Many residents and visitors are noted in Hershey and nearby areas. Mrs J Be Leithiser of Philadelphia visits the Inn with her husband while Miss McCall misses school due to illness. Local social and business events include Mr and Mrs Groff of Harrisburg visiting Mrs Fannie Moyer, Bertha Leichhart’s weekend in Lancaster, and Claude Karg leaving Hershey for Dayton. The Big Department Store adds an electric coffee grinder, repairs and improvements occur, and several residents move or begin new jobs. A circus is planned for June 10 with a big tent show in Hershey Park, plus railway siding work continues between bridges east of Hershey.
