Hershey Evening School Prepares for 25th Year
The Hershey Evening School plans its Silver Anniversary start with session on October 2 under Raymond F. Evans. Registration for 1956 57 classes is September 27 in the high school cafeteria from 7 to 9 p.m. The program runs 52 nights this year with no age limit and expands courses including Weaving and Public Speaking.

School bus safety urged as new law takes effect

Report Correction Of Health Defects At Derry Township
The Derry Township Advisory Health Council approved fluoridation of the local water supply and reported good correction rates for defects among 199 cases. 161 defects were corrected or greatly improved after follow up. $160 was raised for Mountain View playground equipment. donations can be sent to Council Chairman William Hartstock.

M S Hershey Day Concert Charms Milton Hershey School
A near full Milton Hershey School auditorium hosted the seventh annual M S Hershey Day with the U S Army Field Band led by Major Chester E Whiting and the Soldiers Chorus performing. Rotary chairman Dr John O Hershey praised Mr Hershey's lifelong services with portraits and flags on display. The Milton Hershey School Glee Club also contributed two songs.
