Hershey Optimist Club marks Youth Appreciation Week November 4 10 focusing on everyday youths. A November 6 program will award outstanding youths citizenship honors attend a film then attend the Hershey Springfield hockey game with arena refreshments provided by the club, showcasing the motto Friend of the Boy.

Annual Halloween Celebration Salute To Season
The Hershey Halloween parade planned by the Derry Township PTA gathers at 6 30 p m from the Ceylon Caracas area with three divisions featuring police, school bands, floats and volunteer groups. The procession moves west on Chocolate Avenue to Mill Road and Park Boulevard to Hershey Stadium for judging and awards.

A Thanksgiving season meeting of the Retired Employees Association will be held November 4 at 2 p.m. in the Hershey fire hall.
