Harvest Queen Parade Plans Announced For Hershey Halloween
Derry Township PTA unveils parade route from Hershey High School parking lot north on Ceylon to Chocolate to Mill Street and to Hershey Stadium. Queen from Derry Township High School senior class will be crowned, with 300 in prizes for floats and groups. Parade starts 6 30 p m. Route lights urged.

Strange Effects After Blast Levels Snavely Home
A neighborhood blast leveled the Joseph R. Snavely home at 106 Java Avenue with odd aftereffects. The Java Caracas corner light stayed intact, Snavely’s car doors opened but no glass broke, and only a rear hub cap dented. Pfc. Al Connable narrowly escaped when his Dodge was lit by debris. Nearby homes suffered shattered windows while light bulbs remained unbroken.
