Hershey Volunteer Fire Company Queen Contest Planned
The Hershey Volunteer Fire Company hosts the Dauphin County Volunteer Firemen’s Association event on June 14 and 15 and sponsors a queen contest. Interested entrants are invited to a March 14 meeting at Hershey Fire Hall at 7 p.m. Contestants must be single under 21 and residents of Derry Township, either in high school grades 10 to 12 or junior college.

About thirteen adults have shown interest in a ten week study-discussion course held each Wednesday from 8 to 10 p.m. Herbert Friedlander of Harrisburg, a modern artist and Philadelphia School of Fine Arts graduate, presents the course. The Pennsylvania State University collaborates with the Hershey Recreation Board to present it.
