County eliminations proceed with soil districts and vocational teachers. Eligible: unmarried girls 16 to 21 from Pennsylvania. Crowning in Hershey a week before national matches. Retired musician and philanthropist Drescher honored in obit
The Reading Philharmonic and Harrisburg bands veteran musician is remembered for decades with Reading and Harrisburg symphonies and brass teaching. Born in Lancaster County and raised near Campbelltown, he belonged to All Saints Episcopal Church in Hershey and was married to Mary E. Baier of Lebanon.
