Easter Seal Sale Supports Crippled Children in Hershey
Hershey residents contributed 1180.21 to the 1955 Easter Seal Sale via the Tri-County Crippled Children's Association. Donations included 894.85 from Easter Seals and 285.36 from the Lily Parade run by Hershey High School Tri-Hi-Y girls. Local chairwoman Mrs. John Beck led the appeal with thanks from association members Mrs. Edwin Hershey and M. M. Hundberger.

Legionnaires Elect Emerich as Commander in Hershey
John D. Emerich was chosen commander for the 1955 1956 Legion year at a post election held at the Hershey Legion post home. He is a World War II infantry veteran employed in Hershey Chocolate Corp traffic department and resides at 308 East Derry Road. George W. Boyer was elected senior vice commander and Donald B.
